City Walk Coloring Book
The City Walk Coloring book was created to depict the future construction of Hickory City Walk, which will be developed along Main Avenue from Lenoir-Rhyne University through Downtown Hickory to 11th Street NW and up to Old Lenoir Road. The Color book was sent out to public schools and passed out to children 5-12 years old to bring home and share with their parents

Doers and Makers Video
Collection of videos where locals’ shares their love of Hickory. Editing software used were Adobe Premiere and Audition. Jon Carfagno, Executive Director for the Hickory Museum of Art, has followed his passion for art across the United States and abroad. In this video, he shares his story of why he chose Hickory.

The City of Hickory Historic Preservation Commission, in partnership with the Hickory Landmarks Society, created a Downtown History Walking Tour to help you discover the rich heritage and architectural beauty of several historic landmarks located in the City’s vibrant downtown district.

Layout design for Quarterly Report to Management, Council and Bond Commission. This report highlights the marketing efforts by the Communications Department, not including local brand partnerships and events or basic citizen communications that are on-going.

Our State Magazine Layout
In partnership with City of Hickory and CVB, produce a half page layout for Our State Magazine. Utilized strong and high-resolution photography paired with circular elements to create a simple and memorable piece to promote travel and Hickory outdoor activity scene.
Newcomer Info Sheet Layout
Create a design layout that is dynamic and clear with all the content provided by Marketing Director; creating visual points of interest that guide the reader through the piece. Adhere to a set of principles: alignment, visual hierarchy, and space. The layout was created for distribution of Newcomers for Hickory residents. Provided to the Chamber of Commerce, CVB, City Hall Customer Service/Collections for new residents.
