Lamb Graphics

Design Objective:

Lamb Graphics is a team of creative professionals who specializes in story telling and modern design. The branding goals of the design firm was to create stationery and signage that encompass their identity and create brand awareness.

Design Brief:

The plan was to create a logo that combines the name ‘Lamb’ and the basis of what the company specializes in, story-telling. Lamb is one of the most prominent animal in bedtime stories. Merging the company’s name and identity into a bedtime story motif was a great way to connect with the audience’s wistful past and cultivate new engagement with the public. Before fully conceptualizing the company’s brand identity, the figure for the logo mark needed to be organic and free flowing to match the theme of bedtime stories. Figure and ground was used when creating the logo. Clouds represents night and resemble the natural shape of a Lamb’s body; therefore, the cloud was used as the lamb’s body. The body acted as the silhouette and background by utilizing an outline, while the lamb’s face was solid, and portrays figure. Once the logo was established, the logo’s framework was carried into additional marketing collateral. The palette chosen was blue and purple; cool tones that has the ability to calm and soothe. The banner used a golden ratio, following the natural curves of nature and blending all the elements together.
